True teardrops flourish where sorrow does reign,
Emotions launching merciless assail.
Overt display of overwhelming pain,
Muffled whimper becomes resounding wail.
Trials and tribulations to lament,
Distress evolving uncontrollable.
Intractable sobs, manifest torment,
Forging agony inconsolable.
Inaudible cries, many cannot hear,
Mute pleas to bodies who do not listen.
Aching potpourri of anger and fear,
As sanguine eyes enduringly glisten.
Just have a good cry, many recommend,
Not the panacea they do portend.
“Tears come from the heart and not from the brain.” ~ Leonardo Da Vinci
