Anyone who knows me is well aware of the fact that where there’s a jail or prison, I want to check it out (as a visitor, mind you, not as a resident, no matter how temporarily.) Well, much to my pleasure, Oatman had a two-cell jail complete with pillory, gallows, “the hole,” and a gift shop, of course. Admission was $1. Very quaint.
