Just outside the ghost town of Rhyolite, near Beatty, Nevada, is the Goldwell Open Air Museum. Created by Albert Szukalski and other Belgian artists, this “museum” is a collection of large outdoor sculptures oddly placed within the desert. Whereas I have seen many pictures, there’s nothing like seeing this artwork up close and personal.
