Near Davis Dam (just outside of Laughlin, Nevada) sits Katherine Landing at the Lake Mohave Marina. Named after the Katherine Gold Mine that was operational between 1900 and 1930, today, Katherine Landing is a popular spot for outdoor recreation enthusiasts (particularly water lovers), especially given that Lake Mohave has 237 miles of shoreline and 198 secluded, sandy beach coves.
There were some pretty cool abandoned houses in the area. I would totally live there.
