Scenes From a Horse

I love horses. I mean, truly LOVE horses. I want one more than anything—have my entire life—but don’t really have the logistic or financial means for such an expensive “pet.” We used to go to Bonnie Springs frequently to feed the horses there, but, alas, it has since closed, and the horses have been sent elsewhere. So now, I mindlessly wander the streets and trails of Las Vegas looking for horses to pet.

Anyway, in honor of our anniversary, my thoughtful boyfriend (and his chronically bad back due to an injury years ago) booked a horseback ride near Lake Mead for us, so, of course, I snapped a few pictures. And he survived. Enjoy.

Paisley is the youngster of the bunch. She’s around six while the others were 14ish years old.
